The vision

I, Judith Dormans, have a special interest in new media and especially games. New media tells a lot about recent developments in society and by reflecting on games you are indirectly reflecting on society in some ways.

This blog is intended as an exploration on the field of logo and imago. I aim to develop an academic vision on the different theories in the field. I am especially interested in manipulation of the media by politicians, brands or individuals. I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing or immoral, manipulation or untruthful use of media can also lead to creativity. Although I'm not blinded by the negative consequences manipulation can have. A nuanced vision, that sometimes strolls to the negative or positive side, is what you will get from me.
